New green space at NOI
The multi-scenery park designed by Busselli Scherer firm becomes part of the ambitious regenerative project of the NOI Techpark in Bolzano, the science and technology hub of South Tyrol. The area, in full transformation, embodies the imagery associated with urban redevelopment. From a peripheral industrial area, the NOI Techpark is proposed as a new meeting and growth space.

In connection with science
Like a portion of greenery floating above the world of science, the park rises above the underground laboratories dedicated to Eurac Research adjacent to Lot A6. Above the possibility of socialising and living in contact with nature, below the world of science and research at work.
Materiality and essences
Porphyry, cement, wood and botanical species belonging to the grass and lamiaceae family are the material elements that make up the new park. The porphyry paving is developed through a precise geometric design, the benches are made of concrete cast in situ and coloured in paste to give visual continuity to the overall surface while the additional elements such as tables, podiums and additional seating are made of wood.
Many different functions
La The design choice is based on four key functions: Lunch Space, Join Space, Exhibition Space and Chill Space. In these four settings, organised between free greenery and functional elements, different publics such as university students, families, researchers, entrepreneurs find space. A place open to all, designed to welcome and connect different worlds.
